Still Alive

Just a quick note to assuage any fears that The Ballad is shutting down. Despite the lack of follow-up to my crude joke in the last entry, this blog isn't going anywhere. I just haven't had any time to 1) do my fake "The Ballad of Kung Fu declares bankruptcy" post, 2) the economy is no longer the big news despite it not doing a whole lot better/worse than when a billion articles a day came out decrying constant layoffs and "corporate restructurings," and 3) I haven't had any time to write prose about anything.

I will point you in the direction of another blog my wife I began recently that might be a bit of fun. Take it for what you will.
